Director of DevOps

LOCATION: Atlanta, Georgia


We are looking for a hands-on Director of DevOps with Azure DevOps experience who will work in collaboration with many internal stakeholders to improve the continuous integration and deployment pipeline for FieldEdge. The successful candidate should have the capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, while driving improvements to the tools, build/code management practices, and deployment process for complex mission critical SaaS offering.


  • Lead Azure DevOps initiatives and grow the DevOps culture/community
  • Work with Product and Engineering to specify, design, develop, and implement DevOps frameworks and solutions. Including but not limited to, continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines, cloud deployment/management strategies, and various levels of automation
  • Collaborate with Sales and Operations at all levels to foster successful partnerships critical to the design, development, testing, and implementation of automated/continuous deployment solutions
  • Provide architectural input for system design to improve scalability, reliability and adaptability of infrastructure
  • Guide a team of talented Site Reliability Engineers to effectively deliver critical tools and services to the development organization, while maintaining focus on continuous improvement


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or relevant area required
  • 5+ years’ relevant experience in Azure DevOps technical leadership with hands on experience with build/integration/release/deployment and scaling activities
  • Minimum of 2 years of management\lead experience, with passion for mentoring and coaching team members
  • Experience in scaling a SaaS application is ideal
  • Superior analytical, problem solving and planning skills with the desire to continually learn and improve
  • Knowledge and/or experience with orchestration, infrastructure testing, databases, web applications and cloud service providers (i.e. Azure).
  • Ability to accurately scope project requirements and delivery timelines
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively express ideas, engage in complex discussions and collaborate with a wide range of colleagues
